tishie58 Posted May 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2007 We are sailing the Valor in Aug. I knew NOTHING when i booked our room..we have a balcony room 7351 Empress deck. Comments?? was this a good choice, what room would have been better? I really feel all the info I have gotten from CC has been invaluable so I would love some seasoned cruisers opinions:) thanks

My friend had 7365 i believe and she was across from the ice machine/cleaning supply storage and it was noisy all night. You will love Valor she is a great ship. kebhouse Posted May 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2007 We were in 7331 and I thought it was an excellent room and location. Convenient to all areas of the ship.
tishie58 Posted May 2, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted May 2, 2007 I am so relieved to hear that this was a good selection. I am the one who picked the rooms so I was hoping they were good choices. Thanks so much :)

You want to look and be sure what is above and below your cabin (no nightclubs, casinos, food service areas, kitchens) Then you can judge for yourself. luv2cruise777l Posted May 3, 2007 #8 Share Posted May 3, 2007 What about my room, I'm going to be in 7336 on Valor. Is that a good choice? Since there is a blank space across from your room choice you can't be sure what is there. I do remember that there was a laundry area around that area. I would call Carnival and ask where the laundry area is on that floor. I always book a cabin that has a room across and is sandwiched between 2 cabin floors.(meaning no public areas above or below my cabin) Good luck and have a great cruise!:)
