Casino Credit

Recommended Posts

My travel agent told me that I would receive an onboard $250 casino credit. Does anyone know how this works? For example what if I do not spend all of the $250 in the casino? Do I get to collect the balance in cash?

I have never heard of getting "casino credit" just on board credit which you can go to the casino and get cash out at any time. You might want to clarify this with your TA and get it in writing that you are getting this because too many times I have seen on this board that people were told they were getting some sort of credit but when they got on board there was no record of it.

You seapass card will have a folio # on it and this is your account for everything on the ship there is no separate account for the casino.

our casino credit was just shown as deducted from our seapass acct- when you pulled it up on the tv it showed a minus 25.00

get your ta to give you written proof of the credit in case you have to speak with guest relations about it on the ship- it won't show up til day 2 or 3- so wait til then to look- good luck and have fun-

If you are part of a GAP (Group Appreciation Program), with free Chops dinner for 2, wine & cheese, crackers, fruit platter & a casino credit posting to your account. You will find coupons totalling the same amount as the casino credit on the TV, do not cash them in! They debit your account for using them making it -0-.

The last night that isn't a port night with the casino closed, is when you want to check the TV to see if you still have a credit balance. If so take the money out in the casino making like you are ready to play, but pocket it as you walk. If you spent it all shopping, excursions, etc, then they will bill you the remainder.

Hi Mark,

I actually had the same question. Our TA is giving us $400 casino credit, and I can't find any info regarding this on the boards. I am thinking of just going to the casino and cashing it in for chips, then turn the chips in at a later time for cash...in effect a $400 CASH credit (if I can force myself to be disciplined and stay away from the evil Blackjack table!)

Rob,

yeh with me I figured to spend $50 and put the $200 balance in my pocket!

I asked my travel agent that and although she would not actually answer the question she did so in a way that leads me to believe we can walk away with what we don't spend...she told me that I would be provided with some sort of casino voucher the 2nd night of the cruise...in my cabin

I figured that I did pretty good...I booked a D1 Balcony for myself and receive $250 casino credit, $50 from Crown and Anchor Diamond and $50 from RCL Stock Ownership..I am not complaining since I know I got a heavily discounted D1 price compared to what was being asked after the price increase

I only got $50 from C&A and from RCL stock since my cruise is less than one week...I am on 6 day 5 night Enchantment

Mark
