What is there to do close to El San Hotel and Casino?

I have searched but have not had much luck on finding out what is around this hotel. Are there some moderatly priced places to eat or drink. Are there some local shops to browse through or there any points of interest to see. We have never been in this area of San Juan so any input would be appreciated.

frito: this hotel is located in the Isla Verde area of San Juan. NOT in old San Juan.

 

Do a web search for " isla verde san juan " and tons of links will come up.

 

click on the IgoUgo site for some helpful info on what is around there as far as nightlife or restaurants..... seems there was quite a bit of info there.

 

also try www.langland.org/cruises/sanjuan.asp scroll down to the link for maps and try the San Juan and vicinity one.... scroll to the right and you will see the location of your hotel.....
