Rental cars -- Cooper Landing

Our group is staying at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge at Cooper Landing for a couple of days as part of our CruiseTour. Anyone know anything about renting a car in that area?

Sorry, no rental cars except in Seward or Anchorage. One of the big downfalls of the Kenai Princess. You are in the middle of nowhere. Gorgeous lodge and scenery, but without transportation, you will have to depend on Princess.

If no rental cars, is there a shuttle bus to Seward? Also, what are the best options there for excursions. Not much of a fisherperson :) Any comments on the best of these two excursions: Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise or the Kenai Canyon River Rafting?

Thanks

Yes, Princess runs a shuttle bus to Seward. Of your tour list, by far the Kenai Fjords tour would be my choice. Loaded with varied wildlife and wonderful scenery, close up glacier view. You need a tour from the Cooper Landing lodge of about 8-9 hours total, and at least 6 hours on the water.
