What to pack for 13 yr old dd

First time cruiser and also to Alaska. Need some idea as to what my dd should bring for time on boat. Formal not a problem, but what should we brin for regular dinners in the dining room? Any other key things?

ie: Celebrity has formal, informal and casual.

Princess has formal and casual.

The thing about teens, of course, is that they are herd animals. She will love the teen program, but all the girls are bound to check out each other's clothes. I would suggest you overpack a bit, so that DD will be able to "follow the fashion" that the others are wearing -- or maybe set a fashion trend herself!

 

With teens as with adults, casual nights mean no jeans (or at least torn or cutoff ones), no shorts and no t-shirts. Slacks and a blouse will do great. Otherwise, all day around the ship and ashore is totally casual.

OK. so there are the formal nights.

 

On the other nights, she can wear nice pants/top.

Casual skirt/top.

something nice, but not too casual.

 

Be sure it is comfortable, so that she enjoys the dining experience. :)
