Mariner of the Seas vs Carnival Freedom

I've narrowed down our choices for our next cruise to these two ships. I'm hoping to get a comparison by anyone who has cruised on both ships. Being that the Freedom is relatively brand new, it probably is a long-shot to find past cruisers of both. The itineraries are exactly the same but RCI is a bit more expensive...which I'm not concerned about. I'm interested in the onboard experience and how they differ. Thanks in advance.

I have never been on the Carnival Freedom, but have a little experience on the Mariner. I can tell you the Mariner is a beautiful ship. You will not have the amazing promenade on the Carnivale ship, it is a great place to enjoy your time. You will also not have a rock wall, and the beauty of a RCCL ship:)
