What To Do in SJ On Labor Day?

As if it isn't bad enough docking at 3pm, we're there on a holiday! :o :)

 

Actually we went through this last year, too. The rainforest tour was cancelled while we were on board -- poor planning I guess, that they didn't realize in advance the rainforest would be closed for the holiday. Anyway, it was fine, because it was our first time in S.J., and so were fine just walking around OSJ and shopping.

 

But this time, we'd rather do something different and more interesting, so does anyone have ideas of what might be available after 3pm on a holiday? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Any SJ residents have info on this? Leaving in a few weeks. So far, we're just planning on Isla Verde Beach, and probably a jazz club in the evening, but we would be interested in any other options. Thanks.
