Arctic Circle Tour

I have seen that there are several 'Arctic Circle Tours' from Fairbanks. Some are by road, some are air-road and some are air.

What do you actually see on these tours? (other than a sign saying it is the Arctic Circle.

Has anyone been on one - if so would you recommend it?

I have flown in, 3 different areas. Interesting to me was way of life and culture. On one flight- in the back was a labled Pizza Hut pizza and 2 liter of Pepsi, 2 Easter Baskets. I couldn't help wondering about the receivers of these items and probably how much they would be enjoyed. icon_smile.gif I had an excellent conversation with a resident who gave me a unique look into his life- he had come into Fairbanks to shop. It's the personal connections I greatly enjoy and always remember.
