Which airport is closest to Dover port?

Recommended Posts

NWA is serving Gatwick which is the next airport to Gatwick via Detroit or Minneapolis/St. Paul.

KLM is serving Heathrow and London City via Amsterdam.

Depending to your cruise line: Mostly transfers from/to Heathrow and Gatwick are provided.

Thank you!

I thought I had read on these boards that it would take 3 hours by train, sure hope not!

Do not think I am mean...

You need three hours by public transport!!!

Min. 2 hours only incl. two transfers from Gatwick Airport to Dover Priory Street Station + time to/from stations.

Check yourself here for your individual schedule:

I would book a private transfer or the ship's transfer.

The alternative could be to fly to Paris and to use the Eurostar train to Folkstone and from there it's easy to get to Dover.

Somehow it's stupid.
