Hotel/Motel Near Anchorage Airport

Anyone have a suggestion for a hotel or motel close to the Anchorage airport? ? Flying in one night and flying out early next morning to fly to Fairbanks.

Would prefer to have one that may also be close to or have a resturant on the premises.

Thanks for your help

The Courtyard Anchorage Airport is close by, has a free shuttle to & from airport, and has a restaurant onsite serving breakfast & dinner. Additionally, there is a Village Inn Pancake House within walking distance.

The Millenium Hotel in Anchorage may be the closest, but it's kind of expensive. Nice hotel, on the lake. There is a restaurant. From the restaurant, you can watch small float planes taking off and landing.

Including those mentioned there are a few more along that strip.. Puffin Inn, Long house, Best Westerns, Lakeshore Motor Inn, Chandler, Executive Inn, Homestead Inn, Lake Hood Inn, Courtyard. All just a couple miles from the airport. Restaurants within walking distance... Italian/Pizza with delivery, McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's, gas station with liquor store.

Thank you all for the suggestions for places to stay for the one night. :D Just get in too late one night to catch a flight to Fairbanks in the same day.

What a great response for from all of you. I do appreciate it. Enjoy your summer especially if you are going to or live in Alaska.

I know I wil be see The Hag in Alaska this year.

I like the Millenium in the summer when you can sit outside on the deck and watch the planes take off and land. Millenium also has quite a display of game trophies and pelts in the lobby area. They also provide shuttle service to downtown for shopping and restaurants. However, given the very short nature of your visit, I would probably pick something less expensive.
