cell service on Valor

does anyone know what cell service works on the Valor??

I have Cingular and it worked. They have a thing called Seawave or something like that it works anywhere the Valor is. Be ready to pay about $2.50 per minute though.

I have Verizon and my cell never worked! However my friend travled a month before me and her phone (also Verizon) worked great.

Most major carriers work, you will need to call your provider to activate international calling, some charge for international dialing to be added some don't, verizon does not.

 

The fee per minute for most is $2.49 and some have reported $4.99 on board ship (Your no roaming plan does not apply to cruise ships and foreign countries).

 

Call your provider and ask questions, then call back ask the same questions to another rep, and see if the answers are the same, if not ask for a manager.
