Hiring Taxi For The Day

Let's say I wanted to hire a taxi and a driver for the day (9AM-5PM) while in port in Cozumel. Is this even possible? What would it cost me? Anyone ever done this?

Just asked a few cab drivers waiting for fares here and they tell me it's $20/hr for up to 4 people...adios!

I would GLADLY pay $100 for a taxi/driver for the day. Not having to rent a car and having the freedom to see both sides of the island without multiple taxis would be great. I have emailed [email]cozumelcharters@hotmail.com[/email] about this but have not heard back from him/her yet. Hopefully I will soon. Any other "all day" deals like this available?
