St. Helier, Jersey

We are headed here in early July but we only have 6 hours. Can anyone suggest what there is to do here in that length of time? Is there public transportation to get around or can it be done on foot?

I just looked at this website briefly to see that it includes info about public transit on the island and I'm sure there's lots there about what to do/see.

Didn't look at the other websites that my Google search turned up, but if you do it, you'll find others.

 

Other suggestions:

- Use the "Search this forum" tool on this message board to search for: St. Helier and Jersey (though more cruise ships frequented by North American passengers tend to go to Guernsey)

 

- Look on travel guides websites eg. Rough Guide, Frommers, Fodors

 

- Search on Virtual Tourist and Trip Advisor
