It depends on the excursion. Some sell out really quickly. I always book them ahead of time, just because I like to have them paid for in advance. Also, I don't have to worry that they will be sold out.

I would get them now online because if there is one you really want to go on, it will be sold out by the time you get onboard. Typically Horseback riding are the ones that Sell out fast.

just depends on you is there one you realy want to do i would book it on line .. I paid for my panama canel ferry boat in advance there is two ferry boats thay each hold aprox 200 passengers .. we were the only ship in port that day so it didnt realy matter .But if there 2 or 3 ships in port it would have been a problem.. you can check cruisecal.com to find out what other ships will be in port when you are and that should help make up you mind
