HELP - Question about booking excursions

I was on the NCL website tonight and found that I could book my excursions for our cruise. My question: If I book the excursions and decide I want to change to another excursion what kind of problems do you enoucnter? (On Princess it is very simple. Just go online and change.) Is it that simple with NCL? And, if I cancel do I have to wait until we board the ship? Can I add excursions once I have submitted my request?

 

Thanks for answering. This is nine months in advance and things can change if we went with private tours.

You can change on line and also when you board the ship.

I believe you must cancel 24 hours in advance.
