anniebj90290 Posted May 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2007 OK, silly question time, but I've got to ask: We will be cruising this summer out of Rome to Greece, Egypt, Turkey, Cypress. I know the summer temps in these places will be brutally hot. I'm just wondering about the evenings at sea. Should I take up precious room in my suitcase with a sweater? Or are evenings just balmy but still hot? Thanks for your help.
GOVENDER Posted May 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2007 Hi there, we will be going on the same cruise as you, I am being told by friends who have travelled before, even in the evenings it is fairly hot, just like the experience we had in the eastern carribean cruise last christmas, the evenings were very humid, even sea days. Kevbirch Posted June 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2007 I remember on one visit (non cruise) to the Greek islands a few years ago that the only comfortable place to be was in the sea - at 4.00am. Hey it was so hot! So hot in fact that during the day, the temps were touching 47 degrees celsius . . . . approx 117 deg F. Even the locals were feeling the heat so I imagine the sea breeze will be welcome to say the least! Roll on 30th July - we are SO excited.
