tomboyy Posted May 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2007 I booked with Stuart cove's for a shark adventure dive. I guess there is 2 dives .. the first being a free dive and the second being the shark experience. Has anyone ever done this ? Tom
jimw Posted May 20, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2007 We did it a few years ago, a lot of fun. We were on a cruise and arranged it on our own thru Stewart Cove's website. They picked us up, etc. Their location is some distance away from Nassau, so you would need 5-6 hours to get there and back--make 2 dives, etc.

Tom So they don't mistake your arms for food! We did this trip and loved it. You get up close and personal with the sharks.
S&M in Pgh Posted May 23, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2007 Full wetsuit is required to coverup the fact that we taste like chicken. Mike

AnnUF Posted May 24, 2007 #7 Share Posted May 24, 2007 My friends did this dive in the Bahamas. (I wasn't certified at the time) THEY loved it. They said they sat on the ocean floor and the guy on the boat threw food out. The sharks came swarming in from every direction! They said no sharks came near them, they were much more interested in the food near the top of the water.
