Parking in Galveston

Any advice or suggestions on various cruise parking lots in Galveston? Want something secure and fairly close. Thanks.

We have used EZ several times as have several friends and family members. If you book online you get a discount, they have a fenced lot with security. Their shutle is really good as well. If you use terminal parking, you have to drop your luggage and your other passengers at the terminal while the driver parks the car and shuttles the driver back to the terminal. This has to be reversed on debarkation. EZ Cruise will pick you, your guest and luggage at the terminal andtake you to the lot. EZ Cruise is directly across from the terminal parking so for the savings and service it is a great deal.

We just followed a sign that some guy was holding and waving his arms around....I think it was Lighthouse. Gate was locked up once the ship left..we had a number to call if we had to fly back for any reason. Free shuttle, guy unloaded our bags for us...I believe it was $40 for the 5 day cruise.

With the Lighthouse and EZCruise, if you pre-pay on-line you get a discount. Just make sure you get to the parking lot before 2PM. EZ Cruise sometimes oversells their parking lots and people are left stranded with prepaid reservations in hand.

If you are staying overnight in Galvestion, many hotels have a secure lot for cruisers to leave their cars in for free. Didn't know if that may apply to you.
