I am sailing next Sunday, on the Caribbean Princess and can anyone tell me where the ship tenders in. Is it right at the town or nearby? How far it is to the Paradise beach? Would another beach be better? Any idea of cost of cab, do you haggle a price or is it fixed? I have concerns taking a cab in Cozumel, anyone have any problems?

Here is a list of the fares.

Prices are fixed and they are not per person. Price is for up to 4 people in a vehicle. Agree to the price before getting in the taxi. Try to have exact change so you don't get stuck paying $20 for a $12 fare. Drivers sometimes "can't" make change.

No need to worry about taking a taxi in Cozumel, it is quite safe.

Looks like you will arrive in Cozumel on 6/1, you will dock (not tender) at the Punta Langosta pier. Taxi from there to PB should cost $13 one way /4 passengers. As Bruce said ask before getting in.
