alwayssingin Posted May 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2007 Good morning! Looking at the Spirit's sailings to Canada/New England in the fall. When is the best time to go, and which itinerary is better? Unfortunately we won't have time for a longer cruise this fall. Both of these are 6-Day cruises. New York City; Halifax; Bar Harbor; Boston; Martha's Vineyard (Sep 2, Sep 9, Sep 16, Sep 30, Oct 7, Oct 21, Oct 28) OR New York City; Halifax; Bay Of Fundy (Saint John); Boston; Martha's Vineyard (Sep 23, Oct 14) Thanks in advance for any and all advice! gcdogwalker Posted May 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2007 I come from New England and can only tell you that the foliage in New Hampshire peaks around the first week in October. It's so beautiful up there then and I think it will be the same even earlier than early Oct. because you are going further up north. I've heard that it's a beautiful cruise. Have fun! starfamily Posted May 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2007 I agree with alwayssingin- if you are looking for foilage then go not later than early october, plus mid to late oct can get darn right chilly!
