SJ Airport American Curbside checkin vs. Inside

We were on AOS 5/6 sailing and flew home to SF on Mon morn 5/14 on a 9:10 flight. I'd really recommend the curbside checkin vs what looked to be 1,000 people in line for American Airlines inside the terminal. Rigorous security. Line for xraying your checked luggage, then small line for checking luggage, then huge line for inside security screening. Probably took 70 minutes to get to the gate. And that's on a less busy day. Can't even imagine Sunday departure when the ships get in.
