ladyjbd3155 Posted May 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2007 I was also wondering if there is a certain "deck" or "area" that most people gather on for the sailaway, to dance, party, celebrate, whatever.
Wennfred Posted May 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2007 Not sure if you mean from the Street or Onboard. We always go Aft on Lido Deck or the next deck up which is Deck 10 on the Port side to check out the homes and South Beach on the way out. From the Street you can drive on Macarthur Cswy which is the road that heads to South Beach, you can park there and take pictures of the ships as they sail away. Carl Which ever deck you choose, you will see the same sights. If you want an open experience and don't mind the wind, go to the top deck.
florida cruiser girl Posted May 23, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2007 I enjoyed the view from the aft from my cabin. The aft gives a great view of the homes, South Beach, other cruise ships, etc. without any obstruction. But as long as you are sailing away, it's a good time!
