STATEROOMS - What's the difference between these?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 4A, IS and the 1A staterooms?

4A are inside staterooms on the Riviera Deck. IS means Inside guarantee..you will get at least a 4A with a possibility of an upgrade. 1A are smaller rooms, many with bunkbeds..usually fits one person comfortably. Very few 1A's on ships....hope this helps!

IS usually means "Inside" guarantee which could be any inside room on the ship that is assigned to you.

1A - is usually an upper and lower bed only - max of 2 people.

4A is usually the bottom passenger deck inside rooms.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong about any of them.

Thanks for the info. There is only $30.00 difference between the 1A and the IS so I guess the inside gty would be the best route to go.

Stateroom pricing and types are very funny... the 1A's on riviera deck with 2 small beds, is the same size as a balcony on deck 8, well plus theres the balcony space too.
