Question about last day SB Alaska to Vancouver

On the Radiance itinerary (2008) the last day shows to be inside passage sailing. On some of the other lines it says sea day. I've done it both ways and obviously prefer inside passage all the way including going on the east side of Vancouver Island. Can someone tell me what RCI actually does? We cruised NCL last summer and the itinerary said one thing and they did something else on every sailing.
