Luggage Tags

I am on a 6/25/07 sailing of the Celebration. My questions are:

When/how do I get baggage tags? I saw a post where someone said they down loaded them from the website. I have tried to find something on luggage tags with no luck. Will they be mailed to me.

Also, the FAQ says that each ship has a laundry mat on the the stateroom floors. I can not find them on the deck plan pictures. Where R they?

We are assigned cabin E2 - anyone know if this is good or bad assignment. Any noise or motion complaints?

Been on about 15 cruises (NCL, Princess, etc.) this is my first Carnival.

Have read a lot on the boards great ideas and tips. Thanks you to all the

cruise crazy people who post. :):rolleyes:

I don't know much about your other questions, but our luggage tags were given to us by our TA + available for downloading and printing out thru the documents on carnival.com - when it says your Documents are ready, then you can download them + print them. At least that's how it worked for me. :)

So even though you sign up for e-docs from the website, will the TA still mail cruise docs and luggage tags to you? I signed up online for e-docs, then decided I didn't want to print my own. I called Carnival and they said once you sign up for e-docs, you can't change to regular cruise docs. Is this true if you have a TA, or will the TA still send the docs to you?

If you requested mailed docs then tags will come with those. Otherwise you can download your docs (as rissahh stated) including tags from the Carnival website.

Launderettes Location

Main Deck: across from M132

Upper Deck: across from U76

Don't know any specifics about E2, but we were all the way forward on the Destiny (9101) and had no problems.

Not sure. If you don't get a response here about it, post it as a new topic.

My TA gave me the docs before I signed up online - I purely signed up to see the excursions and noticed that I was being offered to download them online. I would contact your TA or whereever you booked from to get a definate answer. If Carnival says you can't change, then download them from Carnival - Ours showed up about 2 weeks before the cruise? Somewhere around there I think.

If you signed up for E-Docs on Carnival's web site, you CAN NOT change that, you will have to download and print your luggage tags and docs from there. It states that right on the web-site...Not even with a TA will you get your docs mailed......

What Carnival said is so. Once you sign up for e-docs, you can't change to regular cruise dosc. The TA can't get them as Carnival doesn't issue them to the TA to send to you. The old paper doc's are generated by Carnival not a TA.

You can see and print your doc anytime after final payment. I wouldn't print them until close to sailing or until you are sure of 1)your cabin if you selected a cabin number and 2) you have selected all ship tours and transfers. This way your e-docs are more accurate than the old paper and your luggage tags are all filled out for you except your name.

Hope this helps!

All the lines are switching over to e-docs.

There cards on a string right?

Yup...They look a little fragile to me, but I guess they work okay. The ones we used on Celebrity were more like the airline luggage tags...long sticker type tags.

Just a note of information about the e-docs. If you check you want the paper docs, you can still print out the e-docs also. It's a faster way to see your documents and also find out where your cabin is if you are in a guarantee. It also lists your dining time, but not the table location.
