dino76 Posted May 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2007 Hi, We will be sailing to the Bahamas the end of February 2008... we are not drinkers or high adventure people (49 and 50 years old). Are their hiking trails on Cococay??? What are some fun things to do (either on our own or through booking tours, etc.)?????? THANKS!

suezyq50 Posted October 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2007 Coco Cay is very small. Wouldn't take an hour to walk around it. Enjoy the ater by renting a mat and float the day away. We like to snorkel while on the island. In Nassau, we go to Atlantis. I would like to do a walk. There is a map out there with a walking trail. I believe it can be found in frommer's. Do a search in this forum for more info. You can find a map of Coco Cay.
luvmyjewels Posted October 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2007 We were in Nassau and on Coco Cay last week. In Nassau, we spent the morning walking around downtown, but it wasn't that impressive. The afternoon was spent snorkeling through the Stuart's Cove Dive Center (it was the highlight of our trip). Coco Cay is very small, and there is a fairly short nature trail. We spent the day playing in the ocean and napping/reading in the hammocks. You could go on a kayak tour, sea doos, or rent snorkel equipment or a floating mat. To be honest, it was wonderful just having un-winding time and being lazy. There isn't a whole lot to see there, but we did see some island iguanas and chickens on our way back to the ship.
kmsu2000 Posted October 23, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I think you are in the wrong board for coco cay questions. Coco cay is under Private Islands Castaway Cay, Coco Cay, Half Moon Cay, Labadee, Princess Cays etc. - I fund all my questions about coco cay and ready for my short cruise next month on Nov-9-07.
