Diamond Question

I've booked a cruise on the Diamond departing on 6/2 and just received my cabin assignment.

 

We booked an outside cabin Cat F with a guarantee. If we would have confirmed a cabin it would have been about 1/3 from the front on the Emerald deck (4th passenger deck). Our upgrade got us a cabin on the Plaza deck (1st passenger deck) four rooms from the front and right under the show stage.

 

This is our first cruise with Princess so I've never really dealt with them. I'm going to call Princess in awhile to see if we might be able to be moved to another cabin. Does anyone have any experience with this type of request and any advice on how to work with Princess on this?????????

Guess it depends on how full the ship is.

Did you book through Princess or a TA?

I wouldn't see why they could not move you back up to Emerald Deck.

They probably thought they were doing you a favor by giving you an unobstructed window on Plaza.

The Princess theater would be a concern to me though. :)
