Parking Help in Galveston

Which is the EASIEST and most convenient parking lot for the Rhapsody of the Seas in Galveston, TX? Lighthouse, EZCruise, or the Port of Galveston? We do not care about the cost; we want the easiest and fastest access to the ship.

EZ Cruise and Lighthouse are next to each other. I have used EZ-Cruise and did not have a problem except with the shuttle is kind of slow. Lighthouse appears to have a better looking facility. If you use the Port of Galveston parking, you will have to drop your luggage prior to parking as they do not allow luggage on board their shuttles.

Thanks for the info! I am going to check into EZ Cruise and Lighthouse parking. Are these two parking lots closer than the Port of Galveston parking? Has anyone used the Port of Galveston parking? We are going to drop bags and people off at the cruise terminal before we park, regardless of which company we use!

That question is subjective. Depending on when you get there. If they are still unloading one or both of the ships, you have cars from the current AND previous cruises parked. The cruise ship terminal is very long and covers a couple of football field lenghts. You could be several blocks from the ship and still be in terminal parking! They also have tons of handicap parking. There are shuttles but it takes a while and just drops you in the area of your car.Lighthouse or EZ cruise will still let you drop your party and luggage and then park. You can shuttle over or walk. It's that close. Mt vote is EX cruise as we had quicker shuttle on the return with them.

We were on the Rhapsody last summer and EZ cruise worked best from our view of things. I had run a recon mission a few weeks before when we had a girl's weekend in Galveston. It was directly across from the Ship
