budaman Posted May 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2007 Finally booked our trip aboard the Star Flyer for Aug. 3, 2008. Had wanted to do Sept. but apparently a large European firm has booked the ship for the entire month of Sept. Enjoyed booking through Star Clipper directly and was very, very pleased with how the whole process went. Will be doing the 7 night cruise and 2 days post cruise. I just wish it were time to go now! Anyone familiar with either Cat.2 cabins 309 & 330? 309 sems a little smaller & is across from where they store dishes, etc. but has the fixed Double bed. 330 is aft of the dining room and is larger but has twins that need to be pushed together. habenicd Posted July 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2007 Congrats on your booking. We just booked the Star Flyer for Feb. 24, 2008. We are definately looking forward to spending time under the sails once again. To do so in such a beautiful area of the world is a bonus. We are going to make the most of this our first trip to Tahiti.
budaman Posted July 4, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Congrats to you also! Look forward to hearing about your adventures in FP in February. I would imagine that with the Tahitian Princess not operating there during the summer months, the Flyer should be filling up quickly. habenicd Posted July 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Actually it is all but full already. We managed to get the LAST cat. 4 stateroom. We had hoped for a midship cat. 3 or 2 but none were left. The timing and the number of days couldn't be missed though so we took what we could get and we'll have a great time no matter what.
