Confused about asian restaurants

I am sailing on the POH and was wondering, if I make a reservation for the teppanyaki table, can I still order sushi from the sushi bar and eat it at the cooking table or do I need a separate dinner reservation on another night for sushi?:confused:

You can order sushi separately by the piece to go with your teppanyaki dinner. And some of the teppanyaki dinner selections include sushi.

 

I don't think they'd like you to skip the teppanyaki dinner and just have sushi if you're sitting at the teppanyaki table, though. I doubt that's what you meant but just want to be clear...

I believe if you do that, you'll be charged the $15 sushi restaurant cover fee, in addition to your $20 teppanyaki restaurant fee.

On the Spirit, I wasn't but I sailed on her not long after she entered service under NCL, so maybe things have changed. I had a California roll along with my teppanyaki dinner and was just charged a few dollars more. I also wasn't charged the regular price for the dinner since I had it vegetarian -- I was a very happy cruiser that day!

Sushi is available by the piece, priced per piece, as well as all-you-can-eat for one price.

Is sushi ever available elsewhere on the ships for free? Or is it only in the sushi bar? And does anyone have a scan of the menu showing the special rolls, etc.?

There is a thread that's only a couple of days old called "sushi menu for Pearl" and in that thread you'll find two links to sushi menus and possibly some pictures.
