We will be staying one day after our cruise and would like a reasonable priced hotel with a shuttle from the port and a shuttle to the airport, with a nice pool for our son to swim in within walking distance to resturants and shops maybe the beach...any suggestions... I have been bidding on price line for 3* hotels for 11/26 and I have gone as high as $100...thanks for any help you can give me...

Hotels that offer cruiseport transportation offer a shuttle to the port. I think you'll be hard pressed finding one that picks up at the port. Keep in mind high season in SoFla starts November 1st, it will be slim pickings in the $100 price range. You can probably get an airport hotel with a pool for no more then $149 a night.

Hi,

Comfort Suites air and cruise port.

I have no idea if this hotel is any good. The reviews are very mixed. They do offer both shuttles (air and port) and have a pool. A room with a queen bed and a sofa bed is $111.99 for your date. If you don't mind your son sleeping on a sofa bed this might be o.k. It also includes a small breakfast.

http://www.choicehotels.com/ires/en-US/html/ArrivalInfo?hotel=FL250 in the box that says "standard rate" use the drop down menu and select "internet users rate" This will give you much better rates. You can cancel (up to a few days before) this reservation so what I did is book it for now and if something better comes up I will cancel. I know there is a grocery a pharmacy and an Outback restaurant within walking distance.

Good Luck
