nextelcup Posted May 29, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2007 We will be on the Princess train from Denali and arriving in Whittier at 5:15 p.m. Coral Princess leaves at 9:30 p.m. We are scheduled for early dinner seating, but I think this might not apply for this first night??? After boarding, do we need to RUSH to eat, or what? Do we need to change out of our jeans or will this first night be very casual? All other posts regarding boarding and what to do first seem to be by people who arrive quite a bit earlier. First time cruisers here, so any insights are appreciated. THX! Budget Queen Posted May 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2007 In the past, it's been open seating the first night out of Alaska.
nextelcup Posted May 30, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 30, 2007 In the past, it's been open seating the first night out of Alaska. A little more info, please BQ. What does open seating entail? Also, jeans ok or change into nicer pants? Thanks, again!
Budget Queen Posted May 30, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Meaning the dining room is opened for a more extended time, and you will be seated as you show up. With Princess, they already have Personal Choice, so it usually is for everyone that first night. Usually, jeans are fine since luggage may not be delivered.
