Check each one out. See which one fits your needs and wants. What ports would you like to visit and see which ship sails to those areas.

Only you can decide which one.

Either way, you won't go wrong....You'll be - cruising - enjoying yourself....

Good luck...

When we book a cruise we look at the itinerary, dates, departure port, and prices. Then I look at the reviews of the specific ship to help me make a decision.

We're all different in what we're looking for. Some people want formal dinners, some want to party, some want to have many activities planned during the day, some want to eat whenever, some want set dinner times.

In other words, it's really hard to say which cruise line you like. Have you looked at the different itineraries and ships and prices? That's a good place to start!

No question - RCCL is superior in my mind. But as others have said, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I enjoy RCCL because IMHO - they are classier, friendlier & their usual guests tend to dispaly better overall behavior (although this is subjective). Plus, their "freuqent floaters" program is far superior. Again this is in my humble opinion.

Fondly,

Heidi

I cruise both Carnival and Royal Caribbean and like them both.

I like the balcony pricing, food, supper club, shows and casino on Carnival a little better. Spirit class vessels are my preferred Carnival ships.

The Voyager/Freedom ships are the best out there as far as things to do. Royal Caribbean has a far superior repeat guest program. We're Diamond now and get lots of perks.

Personally, I go for the Voyager/Freedom if the pricing is good.
