Capt Larry: Express Tour vs. Regular

I just heard back from Capt Larry. He said the Awesome Orca is full but the Express Orca has avilability. Has anyone taken the Express tour? Any feedback?

I believe this is their second boat (over flow boat if the first is full). We saw this on my last trip and I believe it is a little bit smaller. Unfortunately, you will not have Captain Larry on that boat.

 

Last summer, I recommended Capt Larry to some friends. I didn't realize that they didn't get on Capt Larry's boat until they returned from their trip. They raved about the excursion and the person driving the boat. They had no complaints. Sorry - no first had experience.

 

If I had a choice between going on the 2nd boat or through the ship tour - I would do the 2nd boat. Capt Larry's staff is very good.

How do you get from the cruise port to the whale watch dock? Is this a taxi thing?

Captain Larrys office is right in downtown and they have a shuttle waiting for you, you can either walk or Princess had shuttle buses to take you there, not really that far, so you can walk if you want to, Captain Larrys tour so by far the highlite of our cruise, we saw many many whales, enjoy, you will have a great time
