It really looks like it is not in the best neighborhood and "seedy." However, once the admission was paid and we were inside, it was a nice beach, not heavily populated. We rented beach lounges which I can't remember how much but was not outrageous. Our cab driver asked when we would like to return to the ship and said he would be there (again, it seemed we were off the beaten track so I was worried about the return).
