I would like to book this hotel on easyclicktravel................the question I have is that easy click website is listing a "standard" room when booking. Would anyone happen to know if this would be an inferior room compared with others at the hotel?

the intercontinental is a great hotel, in a very good location.. i doubt if a standard room would be inferior,, just its location (view) would be not as good.. you might book it and when you get there see the front desk about an upgrade if you are not happy with the room.. I think you will be very happy with the hotel

I highly doubt any of their rooms are inferior. I stayed there with a large group three years ago and got to see several of my friend's rooms. They were all very nice, regardless of size or location.

I shouldn't have used the word "inferior" for my question. I did end up booking this hotel because of reviews on this board along with price and location. I'm sure it will be a wonderful hotel.

I have been looking at the Intercontinental for our pre-cruise stay in November. The price on lastminutetravel is about $150 for 2 people but $255 for 4 in one room. We will be travelling with our children ages 11 and 13 but would love to get the cheaper rate. How much problems would we have if we booked it for 2 with the two beds but had the kids stay with us?
