Eze & St Paul De Vince questions

Does anyone know what time most of the cruise ship excursion tours come to these tiny villages? We have a tour guide & I'd like to plan our stop when it's least crowded.

Also, from what I understand, both villages sound beautiful. Someone in our group might have a problem with a lot of climbing. Anyone know which might be easier for her to see?

Can't help with when less crowded as they are generally always full of tourist,but there was a thread about a month ago on which was easier for someone who had trouble with walking so you may want to do a search on the board as there was a lot of info...I think St.P was the winner for easiest to get around.

Re your other post on Monaco/Monte Carlo...I would at least drive through the area on the middle corniche as there it is a lovely area and more to see than just the palace and the casino..as the other poster said though...your call.I have spent some time along the coast and all the towns have their own unique looks.

I would not get too concerned about the timing of cruise ship tours. They will often alternate their visit times, but its not really relevent. St Paul de Vence is actually large enough that a cruise tour hardly dents the place...and it is always full of many other tourists not to mention plenty of French visitors (particularly on weekends). Eze is somewhat smaller, but the tours tend to rush through and do not cause a hassle. Keep in mind that when you are in southern France you are in one of the world's most popular tourist destinations...so a few thousand cruise passengers are not even noticed.
