Can you send and receive text messages? Anyone know the cost?

yes, you can send and receive text messages while on the cellular at sea network. Cost totally depends on your carrier, your calling plan, and whether you attach images. I have Cingular/ATT and unlimited text on my local network. I think I was charged $0.25 for out and incoming text messages.
