I just got back from Puerto Rico yesterday. I want to send a special thank you to Big Sky Country, Oaktree, Alinehu, Boricua2007 and others who have helped me on this thread. We found a great doctor for my friend's ear at Ashford Medical Center. We rented a car on our own and drove through the rain forest. We actually spent one day driving from Condado to Rincon. That was well worth the trip. We drove throught the mountains, saw Ponce, drove along the coast to Rincon - spent a couple of hours, then drove back along Route 22. What a long and wonderful day. We truly listened to a lot of the advice given here. It was very helpful.
