In May 2005, our luggage stayed on the tarmac in CA while we sailed to Alaska.

 

I didn't care if I had to wash out my underwear in the sink every night - we were on a ship - in Alaska! :D

 

Can't wait to get back there.

Oh man can I relate to some of these!

 

I soooooo don't care about becoming fast friends with any of the crew. As long as they are polite and do their jobs, I am cool.

 

Could not care less about Bingo, having my picture taken 5,000 times, who the CD is or if the ship has a bowling alley (or rock wall, or rollercoaster, or any of the other weird things they are putting on ships now for those who require constant stimulation and a more theme-park style cruise).

 

I DO care about good food with a decent variety, ports that have some interest, some open space on deck for just watching the water go by and a variety of shipboard activities, not just the same-old stuff.

I do care about some of the things people don't care about. That's what's so great about cruising. Brings all sorts together.
