Icy Straight Point - new ZipRide

Saw this in the Sunday paper a couple of weeks ago. "Icy Straight Point has opened the highest and longest ZipRider zip line in the world. The 5,330 foot long line takes thrill-seekers from the heights of a mountaintop yo the beach below. Because the line consists of only a launch tower and landing platform and no ground contact between the 2 terminals, there is minimal impact to the invironment. The zip-line launch pad is tucked inconspicuously amid the dense forest, 1330 feet above sea level. Riders are buckled in securely, and within seconds are treated to a magnificent, eagle's-eye-view of the surrounding mountains and ocean. Traveling of speeds at up to 60 miles per hour, riders reach the bottom in just 90 seconds. Six cables allow as many as 6 passengers to launch simultaneously or independently.
