dreamworld Posted June 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2007 Has anyone stayed in room 8229 or 9243 on the Century? It looks like it is an aft room, but not sure. Was curious if there would be a lot of noise. Thanks for any information, Frances:)
chessbriar Posted June 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2007 Being an aft cabin it will have a fair amount of noise and vibration everytime the ship either comes into or leaves port.
cruisingdelt Posted June 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Has anyone stayed in room 8229 or 9243 on the Century? It looks like it is an aft room, but not sure. Was curious if there would be a lot of noise. Thanks for any information, Frances:) We stayed in 9245 in 2005 (pre refurbishment). It is an aft room and you will feel vibration and some noise when entering and leaving a port. Also heard a lot of door slamming. There is a door leading to the outside stairs betweem 9245 and 9243. Neither of these issues were bad enough to ruin a great cruise on a very nice ship:)
