KarenR_UK Posted June 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Ummm I Dont get there until the 21st - plenty of time for it to go downhill :D But it sure would help if I could pack even 1 less woolly :D Interesting checking out some other places Today, northern Iceland (Akureyri) is 7 degrees warmer then southern Iceland (Reykjavik) And Trondheim (our most northerly stop in Norway) is currently 28 degrees to Bergens 25 and Stavangers 21 (our most southerly stop) Trondheim goes down hill before the weekend though, back to 18 on Saturday :( (I don't get there til 16th) whereas Stavanger and Bergen remain about the same Must find that 10 day forecast site :D Karen
Fifer Posted June 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Ummm Must find that 10 day forecast site :D Karen Try this one - http://wwwa.accuweather.com/world-index.asp?partner=accuweather - I found it pretty useful when on the QE2 Africa/Canaries trip at Christmas. Oslo Dutch Posted June 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2007 Yep, It's pretty nice and warm here in Norway right now. Beware it might get a bit cooler than you think at the West coast. But considering Bergen's rainy image it looks very good indeed Reint
Sahaj Posted June 7, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2007 I was chatting with some friends who live in Stavanger last week. We were told the weather is constantly changing (although June has some of the best weather of the year). It can be sunny, cool, warm, wet (and all in the same day). So it is best to be prepared. I was told that when it rains, it usually doesn't last long... I am hoping for all of us, that the weather is beautiful. A friend has offered to take us up flying if it is clear! :) Ummm I Dont get there until the 21st - plenty of time for it to go downhill :D But it sure would help if I could pack even 1 less woolly :D Interesting checking out some other places Today, northern Iceland (Akureyri) is 7 degrees warmer then southern Iceland (Reykjavik) And Trondheim (our most northerly stop in Norway) is currently 28 degrees to Bergens 25 and Stavangers 21 (our most southerly stop) Trondheim goes down hill before the weekend though, back to 18 on Saturday :( (I don't get there til 16th) whereas Stavanger and Bergen remain about the same Must find that 10 day forecast site :D Karen
