Which Ship?

I am torn between 4 ships. Freedom, Triumph, or Victory, Legend. I was thinking Valor or Triumph. Never cruised before, and will be sailing with son 6 and husband too. Please tell me the pros and cons of each ship. Which ship has the most? Thank you for your help!!:confused:

I liked the Legend. It was clean and it has good ports. I diden't care for the Triumph. Its starting to show its age. I had a cat 12 suite that needs a refit. The Valor looks good to. I want to try that ship. I would book the Freedom. Its a new ship I don't think you could go wrong. If the ports look good to you I would book the Freedom.

I cannot remember, but I know only certain ships have a half basketball court. Do you know which one they are?

For a first cruise, EVERY ship is terrific.*

 

*Provided you turn out to be a "CRUISER" like the rest of us. If you find your just not cut out for cruising, you won't enjoy any ship.

 

Take the ship and/or itinerary that sounds most interesting TO YOU. What we think.........never has mattered.

I don't care for the older Carnival ships, so I would say not the Triumph and Victory. I've been on the Liberty, Spirit and Miracle. I prefer the Spirit class (Legend) but also like the Liberty(Freedom) size ship. Many of my friends love the Valor, I haven't been yet but I am booked for 2009!

 

There was a half basketball court on a forward upper deck of the Miracle. Since the Freedom is bigger than the Miracle it probably has one too.

I would choose the newest ship--Freedom--hands down--just because it is the newest!!
