Here's a mobile phone video of the Pacific Sun leaving Portside Terminal in Brisbane last night.

The cocktail party was a lot of fun. The best bit was being able to meet fellow cruise critics in person. There were 8 CC'ers there (including spouses and kids). Thanks everyone for turning up.

We really should do it again sometime.

We were also at Portside last night seeing the Sun off. Where was the coctail party? We only saw a group of people at the end with leis(??) around their necks holding drinks! It would have been great to meet you guys. Oh well, maybe when the Star returns in a few months.Il be down there again to welcome her back!

Stacey - yeah we had Lei's on. The cocktail part was run by a TA that MsMinx knew, and she very kindly aranged an invite for my family.

We were all standing up near the bow end of the veiwing platform.

The cocktail party was in the resturant downstairs on the ground floor, and we all came up at 6pm to watch her sail off.

Sorry we missed you

If it's one of the Saturday sailings we'd be able to make it down there for a get togther. Thursday night wasn't a good time for us, wouldn't have got from work to Portside in time.
