How far is it to Arawak Cay from the ships? Think I would like to take a look. What is the best way to get there? ...Does a jitney go by there?

Sounds like that is where you need to go to sample some good native food.

If you don't mind me answering for her, Arawak Cay is about a 20-minute walk beyond the British Colonial Hilton. But you can take the #10 jitney for just a dollar and that would be much quicker and cooler. Tell the driver when you get on board where you're wanting to be dropped off and he'll stop and tell you at the appropriate time.
