There are many good restaurants in that area. A few questions for you, how do you want to spend, what type of food are you interested in and how far will you walk?

Ruth Chris Steak House is located on the corner of 7th & Pine

The Cheesecake Factory is located on the corner of 7th & Pike

Gordon Biersch is located in Pacific Place on the corner of 6th & Pine

Cutters Bayhouse is located at the North end of the Pike Place Market

Tom Douglas has many good places to eat in the downtown area. Dahlia Lounge and Lola's are on 4th & Virginia. The bakery is next to Dahlia Lounge - killer coconut cream pie. Etta's is in the Pike Place Market

Other good seafood places are located on the waterfront, Elliott's

Anthony's Homeport

Tulio is Italian on the corner of 4th and Spring

Hope this helps you some.

Thanks. It's for a twenty fifth wedding anniversary week...and I was thinking of someplace special. I've considered many of your suggestions, especially Lola's and Elliot's. What do you think of Place Piggalle....in the market?

Hey go for it, then when you get back from your Fabulous anniversary trip you can post a review:D , so we all know what you thought of it. Make sure to double check the weather forecast a couple of days before you leave for Seattle (komotv.com) is our local TV station. I would suggest unless they show sun only pack an umbrella.

Please let me know if you need any other information.

Your hotel is in a great central location near lots of shopping, close to the Pike Place Market and a short bus ride to the Seattle Center and Pioneer Square.

My suggestions would depend upon walking or taking a taxi, cuisine, and how much you want to spend. There are many "special" places to go for a 25th Anniversary. (Congratulations!) At Pike Market: Campagne, Chez Shea, Maximilien in the Market. Great view of the city so go late and take a taxi to Palisades. Beautiful decor, good menu, food is not as good as those listed above, but let them know it's your 25th and they'll make it special. Belltown (few blocks north of the Market): Flying Fish and Cascadia, and just about anyplace else you wander into. Pier 70 Watgerfront - expensive but great seafood. Go to City Search: Seattle and check out the restaurant reviews. Hope your evening is special.
