Where in Phuket does Star Clipper dock?

Where in Phuket does the Star Clipper dock? Does anybody have any hotel recommendations, that are close to the pier?

Hi Hobie, I am on the Athens - Phuket repositioning in fall 07, and my travel agent found out the hotel that they have used in the past is the

Merlin Patong - which seems to be very central Phuket - Patong beach, so I am assuming there is probably only one dock and in that general area - but have no definite info. Are you on repositioning also, or leaving out of Phuket?

Sorry, I don't know where the port is in Phuket but I was wondering if you are doing the Far East cruise or the Phuket to Malaysia trip? I am considering this trip.

I just booked the March 8, 2008 Phuket to Singapore cruise. It looks like a great itinerary. I have always wanted to visit Malaca, Penang and Singapore.

There is a pretty good package deal being offered by Star Clippers. 4 nights in Bangkok, air from L.A. air from Bangkok to Phuket and all transfers. I also added on two extra nights post-cruise in Singapore.
