What is a PVP?

Carnival calls their more experienced booking agents PVPs....Personal Vacation Planners. They also have CVPs who answer the phone at the 800 number; they can also book cruises. Ask for a PVP for more personalized service.:)

A PVP can also be referred to as a Travel Agent. I booked thru an online agency and my travel agent there is also referred to as a PVP, just a relatively new industry "buzz word" IMO.
