Parents had 185- we had 231 on the Sensation on our first cruise.

Brothers were located 55-& 57

Your cabins hold 3 people each except for 173 which holds 2 people.

If youneed the other bed-- to accomadate a 3rd or 4th person a roll away is bought in.

What would youlike to know.?

Proximity to elevators. Noise level from engine. Vibration. How long ago did you cruise on Sensation? Does the 3 bunk pull down from the ceiling?

My first cruise on the Sensation was in 2000. It was the first on my road to a cruising addiction. Heading out on my 10th in August.

your deck plans:

http://www.carnival.com/Deck_Plan.aspx?shipCode=SE

You should register to use the carnival web pages.. once registered go to PROFILE and click on ADD A BOOKING # which will show you lots of interesting stuff.

the bunk is from the wall. (same thing as the ceiling one)

This class of ships has dead ends.. go left out of your cabin for the aft elevators to get to the buffet and pools-

if you get the early seating (5:45 or 8:00) you want to go to those elevators to get to the dining room

If you get the later seatings (6:15 or 8:30) youwant the midship elevators to get there.

The galley runs between those.

promanade deck runs forward to aft with no dead ends.

You wont hear engines on this deck. You might feel shuddering or vibration when the ship is docking or puliing out of a port.,

Thank you. I like being between 2 cabin decks so we don't hear disco or chair movement noise. I wish we wouldn't have the engine shuttering when we pull into port, but oh well, nothing to be done about that. Hope to get on a longer cruise on a newer ship someday.
